When it comes to the Heroes of Boston, Dick and Rick Hoyt are right at the top of the list. No one thought that Dick could push his son Rick and actually finish a marathon. But the father and son team proved everyone wrong and not only qualified for and finished Boston, they also finished the Ironman Triathlon World Championship and motivated parents around the world to make sure their child was able to pursue their dreams as well. There is now a statue of Dick and Rick at the starting line in Hopkinton to honor the marathon’s most famous father and son team!
Filmed LIVE on location at the Boston Marathon Expo. Presented and hosted by Hyland’s, with Polar and UCAN.
